Bringing together the precious essence of creativity and the ease of incomparable craftsmanship, Georges Hobeika infuses into his Fall-Winter 2016-17 Haute Couture collection the virtue of peace contained in heavenly lanterns flying high into the starry evening and spreading, in a bright twinkle, their message of love and harmony.
This symbol of hope is expressed by the vivid glow of a spectacular blossom that feeds a cloud of delicate lace. Sometimes carved out of shantung silk; sometimes composed of crystals and pearls in generous volume, the lotus flowers display the opulence of their foliage on fine fabrics – metallic lace, organza embroidered with silk, gazar and crepe – and communicate a deep impression of cheerfulness and unity.
Georges Hobeika Fall-Winter 2016-17 Haute Couture Collection show took place at Paris Fashion Week on July 4, 2016 in Paris, France.
