The new ColourPop Wild Nothing collection This included two new formulas – Creme Shadows and Lux Lip Oils – as well as a new eyeshadow palette, three powder blushes (in new plastic compacts) and two cream-colored eyeshadows.

I struggled to get the new Creme Shadow formula to work for me, but ultimately I couldn't find a method that would work well on my mobile lid, but that could look decent over my crease (around my forehead bones). I know some readers hoped for something comparable to MAC Paint Pots, but they definitely felt a lot drier and heavier to me than Paint Pots (and obviously didn't do nearly the same thing). I'm really looking forward to hearing from readers how they find the formula.

The new Lux Lip Oils are comfortable, moisturizing, and not sticky, but they are simple (as intended!), So they look more like they appear in the tubes – that's code for "you don't need all!" The two Jelly Much Shadows are fun, sparkling top-coat products, which means they're sharper than described and have lowered the rating. However, if you are someone looking for something sparkling and sheer in the market, they could be just the thing for you.

The best products in the collection were the blush, although I can't understand why ColourPop doesn't think it is appropriate to produce deeper blush. It was a problem with many blush and bronzer colors that were released in different collections. It is only painfully obvious at this start, where there is very clearly room for at least one who is deliberately deeper and richer for darker skin tones. The palette has similar problems since it was very light, although as someone who was lighter, I felt that there was generally no contrast that made it harder for me to carry it.

I still have to work out this kink in format to output the shades IN the palette at the end. So here is a manual version for now 🙂
