This post is sponsored by iHerb, a retailer I've used for years. All opinions are mine – you know, I think it's real!
You know I love iHerb.com – I talk about her all the time. I have been buying many of my nutritional supplements and natural products there for years. I also bought iHerb beauty products, but until recently it was not clear to me that they have major beauty brands such as those found in major beauty stores!
I recently bought a strivectin skin care product at a huge discount. In today's cruelty-free attempt at beauty, I'm sharing what I've received with a $ 100 gift card from iHerb. There is something for every budget – they also have cruelty-free makeup brands for drugstores such as CoverGirl and ELF.
Before we get to my ratings, just a reminder to my international friends that iHerb ships to over 150 countries! They also carry products from the USA, Korea, Japan, Australia, New Zealand, Finland, the United Arab Emirates etc. Here you can also buy your favorite brands K-Beauty and J-Beauty!
Okay, so let's get to the good stuff! I got $ 100 to shop and got 10 beauty items!
Combine Boosta Volumizing Spray
It's been a while since I've tried Unite hair products, but I've really enjoyed them in the past. That's why I was excited when I discovered their Boosta Volumizing Spray at iHerb. I have long, wavy, fine hair, but I always feel like I need more volume at the roots. This product did exactly what I wanted it to do! It gave me some volume without being heavy, crispy or greasy. I also tried it as an all-over spray on damp hair and found that it strengthens my curls and makes them more defined (when used with my regular hair gel).
Cosrx acne pimple master patch
I will never stop raving about hydrocolloid patches with a cosrx acne pimple master patch. You use them after extracting a Zit, and they soak up all of the mass while protecting the wound. Sounds disgusting, but it really is a holy grail for anyone dealing with acne. You will not be treated with anything that would dry out your skin. They are just magical!
Bulldog shaving gel
Bulldog is a British brand that has been certified by Leaping Bunny to be cruelty free. My husband and I share this rich, cruelty-free shaving gel. It consists of camelina, green tea and aloe to soothe the skin and prevent razor blades. It is also approved by the Vegetarian Society.
Grandpa's Apple Cider Vinegar Body Wash
I took a chance. I loved vinegar for the oily skin on my face and I thought this could help with my bacne (back acne). So far, I would say that Grandpa's apple cider vinegar body wash is a winner. It doesn't smell bad like my DIY apple cider vinegar recipes – it smells more like apple juice than vinegar. This makes my skin feel super clean and moisturized – not dried out. I can actually use it anywhere – even in drier areas (like my legs). It is sulfate-free, artificially fragrance-free, paraben-free and gluten-free.
Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Definer
Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Wiz in Taupe is one of my holy grails, so I was happy to try the Brow Definer that I found on iHerb. It has a triangular tip that you can use to shade or draw individual hairs. And at the other end there is a spoolie with which the hair can be cared for. In my opinion, both products are great – it's just a matter of style that you feel more comfortable with.
Sierra Bees organic lip balm
Sierra Bees is an exclusive brand from iHerb and I was thrilled to get a 4-pack for $ 4! I have mint burst, but there are tons of flavors to choose from (I was torn between mint and creme brulee). The lip balms are smooth and non-greasy. They are made from sustainable beeswax, olive oil, sunflower oil and vitamin E. They are certified USDA organic and GMO free.
Auromeric Ayurveda mouthwash
I discovered Auromere Ayurvedic Mouthwash at iHerb some time ago and have been buying it since then. It is alcohol-free and does not burn. It contains a lot of Ayurvedic plant extracts (Neem, Peelu and many more) that clean your mouth and nourish your gums. It has a licorice / herbal taste that you might have to get used to, but I love it. My mouth feels much cleaner and healthier with this brand, and I notice that my gums don't bleed when I use it (even if I forget to floss for a few days – eek!).
Hello naturally whitening fluoride toothpaste
Since it is oral health, coconut oil and tea tree are also excellent ingredients for a healthy mouth and gums. I found this in Hello Naturally Whitening Fluoride Toothpaste. It naturally turns white and contains no artificial sweeteners, dyes, SLS, preservatives, etc. Hello Leaping Bunny products are cruel and vegan certified. It has a nice mint feel, but it's not overwhelming.
Indigo Wild – Goat's milk soap at the bar
I recently tried Indigo Wilds Zum Bar goat's milk soap and enjoyed it so much that I had to stock up on iHerb! I tried the lavender-mint scent and it's so beautiful on a hot summer day! There are many natural soaps that don't foam and I just need some foam in my life. Fortunately, the bar foams very well without SLS! It is a natural soap made from 100% olive oil, coconut, palm and castor oil in food quality based on goat's milk with pure essential oils and mineral pigments.
Avalon Organics hand and body lotion
Finally, I took one of my favorite hand and body lotions. Avalon Organics hand and body lotion in refreshing lemon is the perfect consistency – not too heavy or too light. And the scent is DIVINE – it's like sugared lemons. It is cruelty free and vegan and GMO free.
So all for under $ 100 is not bad at all! I am so impressed with how many amazing products without cruelty iHerb offers – high end and budget. There you will find everything you need – try it out!
