Since I'm in my late 20s, I've noticed some of the first signs of aging. As much as I want to look young forever, I know that this is anything but possible. At least I can rely on certain skin care products to slow down and reduce the signs of aging.

d’Alba is a Korean skin care brand that uses unique ingredients such as white truffle, caviar and avocado oil in its products. What interested me about d’Alba was the luxurious packaging, but what really caught my eye was the anti-aging skin care products.

I didn't try to include anti-aging skin care products in my morning routine, so I thought I would try three of the brand's products: the White Truffle First Spray Serum, the White Truffle Intensive Ampoule, and the Peptide No Sebum Repair Cream.

White Truffle First Spray Serum

My experience: I was very excited about the White Truffle First Spray Serum because I have never tried anything like this! This is a serum, but in the form of a mist. It consists of white truffle, avocado oil and lotus extract, which help the skin to remain resilient while caring for and lightening the skin. It also improves the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.

I use this immediately after cleansing as it instantly gives my skin a boost of moisture. I also like to spray this between my skincare steps as I try to get glass skin and the only way to do that is to hydrate!

This mixture contains an oil layer at the top and a water layer at the bottom. Therefore, it is important to shake them well before spraying them over the face.

Intense white truffle ampoule

My experience: The d’Alba intensive ampoule with white truffles also contains white truffle extract and caviar, which soothe the skin and fight signs of aging. This ampoule spreads easily on my skin and feels very light. It's moisturizing enough to use on its own, but I like to refill another serum, especially a hyaluronic acid serum, if my skin feels particularly dry.

Regarding the anti-aging benefits, I haven't noticed any drastic changes in my skin, but I will continue to use the ampoule in my daily morning routine in the hope that it will help balance out some fine lines.

Peptide No Sebum Repair Cream

My experience: The ’Alba Peptide No Sebum Repair Cream is perhaps my new favorite moisturizer! This cream is filled with peptides, antioxidants and calamine powder and is designed to control excess sebum, soothe the skin, strengthen the skin barrier and fight signs of aging.

I particularly like how soft and plump my skin feels when I use the Peptide No Sebum Repair Cream. It is applied so smoothly and is absorbed quickly without leaving a greasy feeling on my skin. I have a fairly oily T zone and it doesn't seem to be shiny all day since I put this cream in my morning skin care routine.

Similar to the intensive care ampoule with white truffles, I have not yet noticed any significant changes in my skin when it comes to anti-aging benefits. However, I believe that it offers these benefits as my skin has felt much healthier and plumper since I started using this cream.

My last thoughts

Overall, I really enjoyed using all three products in my morning skin care routine. Although some of my fine lines are still clearly visible even after the products have been worked in, my skin feels more hydrated, plump and healthier, which sounds pretty good to me! I can definitely see how I reach for the White Truffle First Spray Serum the most since I am a huge fan of facial mists and I love the fact that it instantly moisturizes my skin.
