Kosa's Longitude Zero (Blush) Pressed blush

Longitude zero

Kosa's Longitude Zero Color and Light Pressed Palette ($ 34.00 for 0.28 oz.) Is the lower-intensity version that is said to have a better build-up coverage, although both shades were semi-opaque to opaque. The powderier texture makes it easier to pick up less product with a lighter hand when a really buildable cover is desired. The duo showed a medium-dark pink blush paired with a light pink highlighter. The products are easy to apply to bare skin, mix well and are stable for eight to eight and a half hours.

Longitude zero (blush)

Longitude zero (blush) is a medium pink with subdued, warm undertones and a semi-matt finish. It was actually fairly pigmented and not buildable as marketable, and the only way to build it up was by using a very light hand (which applies to most pigmented products!).

The texture was soft, smooth, and finely ground with some dryness in the pan, but it was applied so well – it melted wonderfully, but the way the powder sat on my skin smoothed out with a more natural, matte finish. It stayed good for eight and a half hours before visibly fading.

Formula overview

The formula offers two intensity levels – a standard level and a "high intensity" version – with which the customer can select the desired level of pigmentation and depth. The standard intensity offers "buildable, mixable" blush and highlighters that are "easy to use", while the "high intensity" offers a "double color payout".

The texture of the blush seemed drier and powderier, but I was surprised – and impressed! – how beautifully the powder was applied to my skin, mixed and put on it. They continued almost effortlessly with a uniform color scheme that spread slightly along the edges, didn't look flat or dry, and was fairly true to color.

The pigmentation of the standard intensity level was rather medium to semi-opaque, buildable, while the pigmentation of the high-intensity versions was almost opaque to opaque and had a somewhat darker / deeper tone overall. Most of the shadows lasted between eight and nine hours with me.

Longitude Zero (highlighter)

Longitude Zero (highlighter) is a light pink with strong, warm undertones and a soft shimmer. It had a clearer shimmer that had a larger particle size compared to most highlighters in the area. The consistency was moderately powdery, so that excess material was whirled up in the pan. Fortunately, it didn't look dry or dusty on dry skin (or over the foundation).

It had a semi-opaque, buildable cover, so it was slightly more pigmented than expected. The product was applied evenly to my skin, faded out with little effort, and lasted well for eight hours before it faded noticeably.
