The American edition of Harper & # 39; s Bazaar has definitely been a hot topic in our forums lately. Especially since Glenda Bailey announced her departure and Samira Nasr took over the reins. We have obviously anticipated the magazine's response to the global pandemic and the wait is finally over. For the summer of 2020, the magazine spoils us with six covers on which “Voices of Hope” is celebrated. Christy Turlington, Allyson Felix, Ashley Graham, Lauren Underwood, Dr. Leana Wen and Melissa DeRosa were photographed by Mario Sorrenti via Zoom.
The covers were definitely a surprise for our forum members. "This is not an American Harper & # 39; s Bazaar for me. As much as I hated Glenda, I have to admit that I'm already nostalgic for her overly airbrushed, text-packed covers …" commented aracic.
"None of the images have the precision you would expect from a cover photo. Everything looks a little different – awkward posing, clothes that don't fit, and some wouldn't even take the cut as a vacation snapshot," said Tigerrouge.

"I'm not impressed. I find the covers boring. They have nothing special. Could be a random Vogue or an IKEA newspaper," scoffed avonlea002.
"The commercial glamor that I associate with Harper & # 39; s Bazaar is completely lacking here. However, this was filmed during a suspension and global pandemic and is a few steps above what more prestigious magazines have published, so I assume it" , explained KINGofVERSAILLES.
"A change has finally arrived at Harper & # 39; s Bazaar, love that!" praised Miss Dalloway.
