There are times when we are all somewhat undecided. Whether it's where you eat, where you go on vacation or what you wear to work. Well, this spring, designers are taking advantage of this conflict by offering two-tone clothing that offers the best of both worlds.
Brands such as Cynthia Rowley, Dion Lee and Christopher John Rogers offered pieces with shared personality for the spring of 2020, from two-tone pants to half and half dresses. Some are split in the middle, some have legs in two different colors, while others cut off at the top and bottom. There are even more abstract ways to draw the line.
And the trend has already hit the streets. Street style stars have two-tone clothing with beige and black jackets, red and pink pleated skirts. One of the most common iterations? Two-tone jeans. Even Kendall Jenner and Gigi Hadid jumped on the two-tone denim train.
When it comes to styling these half and half objects, it's best to stick to one shade everywhere. So if you choose a two-tone dress, put on sandals in one color – either neutral or one of the colors of your dress. If your expertise is expanded, you can try two-tone footwear.
